This page outlines two very popular services available to parents either living in or visiting the Moraira and Jalon areas of Spain's Costa Blanca, provided by local English resident Donna Howe, whose full contact details are at the bottom of this page.
The first service is babysitting, including daycare, to allow parents to have a stress-free time knowing that their children are being well looked after. An optional extra is the provision of a healthy meal for your children prepared on-site by Donna, who as a specialist caterer has an excellent knowledge of healthy meal preparation.
The second service is baby equipment hire, particularly useful for families who are holidaying in this beautiful holiday area, and who because of luggage restrictions can't bring essential equipment for looking after their youngsters. This includes cot, high chair, stairgate, and child booster seat hire.
DONNA HOWE
Donna has several years experience in this field, has a natural affinity with children, and for parents' peace of mind and children's safety she is trained in first aid and fire safety. A former "high flyer" in the aviation industry who for the last four years has settled in this part of the Costa Blanca, Donna has carved a niche here to provide babysitting, baby equipment hire, and catering services to holidaymakers and residents alike. PRICES
Babysitting starts at around 12 Euros per hour, increasing slightly dependent on the number of children and if they require a meal from Donna - this is an optional extra. After midnight the prices rise to 15 euros per hour.
Catering for children. As a specialist caterer with a great interest in healthy eating, Donna can prepare a healthy and balanced meal for your children if required. As a "rule of thumb" Donna charges approx. 6 euros per child for catering. All in all, an ideal way for you to have a 'grown up' night out without having to worry about your child's wellbeing.
Equipment hire includes cots, high chairs, stair gates and child's booster seats, and means parents need not carry these often bulky items as luggage.......prices are approximately £15 (23 euros) per piece per week. If any two pieces of equipment are hired, the booster seat is provided free of charge. The equipment is delivered to your holiday home for you and collected afterwards.
DAY CARE
By arrangement, Donna can look after your children in your own private villa on a daily rate basis, with the provision of quality childrens' meals.......contact Donna for this service on the numbers below. This service in particular allows holidaying adults the chance of an extended "child-free" time to indulge their grown-up holiday wishes, be it sailing, jet ski-ing, walking, or just visiting one of the nearby beautiful towns or villages.
