Come on in, the water's lovely!
Dive Galicia offers diving trips and holidays to qualified divers in the waters of the region Galicia, in the north-west of Spain.
There are two main areas that we dive, the offshore islands of Cies and Ons and coastal fjiords, the Rias Baxias
.
The Cies and Ons islands are national marine parks and offer a wide variety of diving opportunities, including reefs, gullies and pinnacles all with a splendid variety of sea life. Dives to these sites can be made to suit all levels of diver, from beginner to expert.
The Rias
offer good safe diving with good visibility and are more protected from the winds.
There are a number of wrecks within easy reach; again, something for all levels.
Most diving is best done in dry suits but temperatures range from 14°C to 18°C. There are tidal currents around the Rias but these can be easily avoided.
Diving is from either an 8 or 12 person fast RIB; both are fully licensed and equipped for diving and also have Echo Sounder and GPS.
The skipper is a local diver who knows the best sites for the prevailing weather and with very good knowledge of the dive sites.
